Newport Wetlands Reserve

Yesterday at Uskmouth - red admiral and ringlet butterflies. Cream-spot tiger moth adult and garden tiger moth larva. 2 small eggar moth larval webs at Goldcliff Lagoons near the 2nd viewing platform. One down Saltmarsh Lane has been predated by cuckoos (about the only bird that can eat hairy caterpillars and seems to specialise in doing so) - only one survivor visible.
