Ran the 4x30w actinic last night 12/5 at home.

39 moths of 11 macro 5 micro species. Best of the moths has to be this Orange Footman as it was a new moth for me.

  1. Very nice! Time was, that was a pretty rare species in south Wales, largely restricted to the Wye Valley. It's nice to know the Orange Footman season has started already.

  2. Well done Melvin. Being near the Wye Valley here I do get Orange Footman turn up in the garden, but its good your seeing something new there to fire the interest.
